Pre Valentines Getaway

When I read the reviews and saw that they had hot tubs to help cure the aches and pains of snowboarding all day, I was estatic and knew this was the place to go for my boyfriend and I.
Dinner was fantastic from the appetizer to the filet and salmon, the bottle of wine and just about time to order desert, the ambiance of the room was killed by a table of 8 woman who within seconds murdered the romance aspect. Since we had a hot tub reserved we decided it best just to move on to that. Having told our waitress at the beggining of our meal of our intentions and then the hostess, not once were we informed that the hot tubs although surrounded by four walls were not covered and it had been pouring rain all night. The tub fee had been added to our bill at dinner and within minutes of stepping into the hot tub "room" we decided that with the pouring rain, this was going to be far from a relaxing or romantic time and decided to leave. My boyfriend went to go notify the hostess who was not at her post, so instead he told the bartender we were leaving. $20 short we cut our losses and although spoiled at the end went back to the hotel.
None the less the food was fantastic and up until the clacking hens were seated it was quite romantic. In a matter of 10 minutes a room with seven seated tables was limited to 2 (plus the women) once they showed up. I would recommend that next time they leave the loud ones in the bar.
When forking out $160 for dinner, hot tub & 15% tip it was a little disheartening that our night ended this way. There lucky the food was to die for! To bad we didn't get dessert.
