I live here in Hilo and I go to Ocean's all the time. I am not from here so a lot of the sushi lingo is foriegn to me, but they make it easy. The atmosphere here is not wonderful, but you go fo the food not the scenery!! At times the service is slow beacause the place is always filled and stangely they keep only one to two waitresses on staff at a time. Keeps the prices down I guess. Overall- good prices great food.

Alittle on the expensive side and in the middle of downtown Hilo but well worth it. The service is awesome and the food is great!!!

The food is great, the ambiance is lacking. Very run-down looking inside. Get your food to go and enjoy it at home or a nearby park. Many great specialty rolls. Order the rolls from the left-hand side of the menu for an even bigger bargain; many of these are very similar to the specialty rolls but at a fraction of the price. Try the Bay City roll for a new sushi experience: it comes with melted cheddar cheese on top of the roll! Sounds odd, but tastes delicious! Service is what you would expect for a very casual dining restaurant. They get your order in quick and bring out your food as soon as it is up and usually refill your water glass, but that is about it (which is fine with me). This is a place you come to for the great food at great prices, not the service of a fancy restaurant

Little whole in the wall with the best sushi you'll ever have! Fresh fresh fresh and reasonable!! You can also order from their sister restaurant accross the street which has crab legs for appatizers. Can't beat it and can't wait to go back again.
