Drinks were spendy but good after hitting the slopes. Typical bar food that was good. Friendly staff along with a fun group of customers made it a pretty good spot.

You know why I like this place? Because they were open late, had live music, good drinks, and they fed me well the following morning. Was up in S. Tahoe a few weekends ago for a light bachelor party. While we stayed in Harvey's, this was an evening stop off recommended by a few of the guys in our group. They hit the money on this place. Nice little 2 floor setup, with a balcony spot that's warm enough to seat in even during the cold months. Bottom floor is really just bar territory, but the upper area makes for good seating during the day (and converts nicely for the music to play at night). Really, it's a local pub place with some good food to boot. They treat you nice, no bad vibes, and it definitely made it so that whenever I come up to the area I'll be stopping in. Location is fabulous. Right by the heavenly gondola spot, and a block or two from the big casino hotels. Perfect stumbling distance during a fun night out as well, even if there's ice on the ground.

I already really enjoyed coming here but after coming here on Thurday night i love coming here now. Downstairs they have pool tables and a bar, up stairs they have another full bar and patio seating. They had this great blues band playing. All the staff here seemed really chill and had good energy. Also w/ every drink you order you got a raffle ticket. Last Thurs the grand prize was Kirkwood tickets, pretty awesome deal if you ask me. looking forward to coming here again, especially on a thursday! Also i hear there food is pretty amazing next time i will come earlier so i can grab some grub.

Great apres ski place. Drinks were great, nachos hit the spot and the bartender was friendly, timely and never made us wonder where he was.

I have been here before a couple of times and every time it is good. Good prices and good beer and the food is great. Maybe I was drunk but it was still good. I had the California Turkey and it was so good. Mt Tallac beer is so good as well. Peace out.

Given the reviews of McP's, I'm surprised by what a great experience I had there with my friends. But you definitely have to be in the mood for a divey pub that is just a chill place to hang out with friends. Given the apres ski options close to the base of the Heavenly gondola, McP's is pretty money. 17 of us were able to all sit down and eat some pretty tasty treats (nachos and quesadillas!) and drinks tons and tons of beer. Cozy, great fast service - I don't know what her name is, but that waitress never let anyone see the bottom of his/her glass of beer. And for tons of eats and drink, $420 for all 17 of us was awesome.

This pub was by far the friendliest bar we found in South Lake Tahoe. The crowd is fun and the drinks are cheap. They have a covered patio that's nice to sit on and they have live music. I'd come here again.
