This is the perfect romantic spot for a special dinner. Decorated with white linens and glimmering candles, this cozy Italian restaurant is furnished with only seven tables for an intimate atmosphere. During the summer, you can enjoy your meal outside beneath the towering pines. For a hearty meal, try the Cappellini Bocconcini made with meatballs, fresh tomato and basil. Bistecca alla Veneziana is medallions of filet mignon a green peppercorn cream sauce. Open daily from 5:30 p.m.

Small but nice. Call ahead to reserve a table for yourselves. This is a excellent choice of restaurant for a family to enjoy a meal.

Good food/winelist, excellent desserts (white chocolate ice-cream) and best coffee in Tahoe. A must visit.

Great food, great wine list. So small you have a hard time making reservations. If your party is larger than 6 people, good luck. It will take them a few days to call you to tell you they cannot accomodate you, if they call you at all.

This is an institution that lives on undeserved former glory. Limited menu (I mean, c'mon, a hard boiled egg?) No place to sit let alone sit comfortably. No thanks.

One of the best spots for great food in the Tahoe area. Tiny dining room so reservations are a good idea.

Very quaint. Great food. I had an appetizer with mushrooms that was excellent- and I don't even like mushrooms. Lamb chops were superb! Will definitely be back. Make a reservation- only a few tables in there

Nice place with nice, welcoming service, but the salad and main courses were not very good - over cooked, dry chicken and flavorless seafood pasta. A meal not worthy of a restaurant ranking, other than a very low one.

Not a lot of fine dining choices nearby - but this is a great one. Good pastas, veal dishes, and an incredible hot fundge sundae. Worth skiing all day to feast at night.

We LOVE this place. Very cute and cozy, food is ALWAYS outstanding. We've been going here consistently (every time we go to Tahoe) for the past 8 years and it's certainly our favorite around.
