Bravo Restaurant

Description

The decor of this place is classic Italian, right down to the checkered tablecloths. It attracts large groups, both families and off-duty Navy boys. The house specialties are homemade ravioli, lasagna and cannelloni. The rotisserie chicken cannot be topped, and the pizza menu is terrific. There is a cozy bar that gets pretty rowdy at times, but the main dining room will shield you from the noise.

chef boyardee got nothing on this place

If you like spaghetti o's, then you'll love this place. Not a thing italian about this place. If you get to go anyway, the up side is the staff are pretty good and there are alternatives to the guaranteed heartburn - slathered in tomatoe/hamburger which comes with the Italian menu side.

can't wait to return

While living in Hawaii, my husband and I frequented Bravo's. It is awesome especially the garlic rolls they give you before your meal, yum!! We definetly can't wait to return to the islands and hit our favorite casual spot, Bravo's.

I haven't tried everything yet, but I do plan on going back. My first experience was a really good one. The portions were generious and the waitress was very friendly and helpful. i like mexican and italian food. Bravo deserves it's name in my book.

Bravo's may not "inspired" but never disappoints..
By ,
Bravo has consistently provided excellent service, decent food and okay prices for lunch and dinner. It's not a gourmet Italian place but still a perfectly good to eat. A special treat is their garlic butter bread balls. Highly recommended for a night out, a relaxing lunch, or a place to take family and friends.

Go for the garlic rolls.
By ,
I liked every entree I've eaten while at Bravo's, and although the dishes aren't fancy or innovative, they're still flavorful (which is what counts, in my opinion). The restaurant is kept clean, although some areas tend to smell a bit musty. The main draw for this restaurant (as judged by myself, my family, and friends), are the baskets of garlic rolls. Warm, full of garlic and buttery flavor, and best of all - free and endless. They're so good, sometimes we end up eating more rolls than the main entree itself.

So far, it's OK
By ,
I've been to this restaurant for about 5 times already, since I moved here to Hawaii 4 months ago. It's ok, as far as value for your money is concerned, esp. the lunch menu. The food is also OK, nothing great, but it isn't bad. I like other italian restaurants from the Philippines better, but here in Hawaii, I guess this is OK. Their garlic bread is good though. I recommend the lasagna and other tomato based pastas, I haven't tried any of their cream-style sauce. I love italian food, esp. good pastas so I figured it would be OK for me to review an italian restaurant. :-) I wouldn't recommend their minestrone soup though. It doesn't have the authenticity that I usually go for. But overall, it is OK, I know a lot of people come here to eat, it is supposed to be one of the best Italian Restaurants here, and I've tried another Italian restaurant here in Hawaii, and yeah, Bravo is better. Their Keiki menu (kid's menu) is also good... lots of choices, and very reasonably priced! Service is also good. Overall, I'd give it a 3.5 out of 5. :-)

Bravo Restaurant
By ,
I had the pleasure of eating at Bravo several times when I was in Honolulu visiting a relative. The food was excellent, the Hostesses and the waiters, waitresses were friendly and efficient, and the decor was perfect for the type of restaurant. It was, by far, the best restaurant I ate at, and we ate at many!!!!
