Dixie Grill, Aiea

1 1/2 Hours still no food. Tried to have a mid-week lunch there with my young daughters and some other family. We ordered and waited over an hour for our food. After an hour and a half and after having not gotten any food that we ordered we left. During our stay, we had been reassured that it wouldn't be much longer each time we inquired about our food. When I finally confronted the waitress and cook I found out that they were out of eggs and since we had ordered several breakfast items they had not been able to even start fixing our food. Had we simply been told this we would have happily ordered something else, but were never given that option. Due to the rude and inconsiderate service I will never set foot in Dixie again; which sucks, I used to love the place.

I loved eating here. I found it via Yahoo's local search and it was awesome. The Snow Crab Legs and Shrimp were awesome. I didn't like the calamari or fried okra. They were bland with no seasoning. We didn't get any utensils - so we ate with our fingers. It was messy but worth it :)

Had a bunch of drinks here. It was close enough to get to when I was in the area.

I didnt even know it was a BBQ place the sign only says Dixie Grill and its kinda hidden. My food was great and enough for two meals. He got a salad and it was huge. The drinks were huge, but weak. I got a falming Mai Tai or something like that. Their signature drink and i think it was 32oz. I drank the whole thing and walked out of there like a champ. You get a lot of food for your money but dont go there to get drunk. Id go back.

this place claims to be just like the south, well it is no where near and all they sell is mostly sea food. Not really a good place

From the second we walked into The Dixie Grill, we felt as though we were walking into a genuine Texan restaurant. The smells, the sounds, the wood floors...all reminiscent of a small town bbq. Our waitress was very helpful in suggesting the best dishes even letting us know the flavors of some of them. The food itself was fantastic!!! Huge helpings that filled us up, and left our mouths watering for more.

I miss good seafood. This is the closest to best here in Hawaii! I realize that the barbecue sauces are a whirlwind. I love them all! I love Kansas barbeque sauce for the pulled pork. Yum.

Dixie Grill is a great place to meet a group of friends for lunch- or relax after a long day at work. The atmosphere is nice (not stuffy). It's a great place to break the ice with a date (blind or first)... if he/she likes seafood.

Being cajun, it was nice to have southern food this far in the pacific. I would go back - definately!!
