Cafe Pesto, Hilo

Some of the best pizza I've ever had, and probably the cheapest I've ever fed five people for, under $50 including tip. Alot nicer than I thought it would be to.

Always great service, delicious and varied menu and pleasant atmosphere. Great place to eat anytime, especially after walking the Hilo farmers market!

We only had pizza, which we thought was mediocre. Our experience may have been atypical as other reviewers seem to love it. Will try again next year. Note: we visited the Kawaihae location.

for a shopping mall it's pretty good, even though the bathrooms are public.

The service is amazeing!

I was recently diagnosed with a gluten allergy. The waitress took the time to double check my order with the chef and made some alternate recommendations to accommodate my allergy. The food was fresh, well prepared and delicious! The wait-staff where attentive and friendly. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food in Hilo! Mahalo!

Not a bad option for lunch, but I was not overly impressed. They offer a variety of selections which would make a good choice for a larger group or families. The ahi salad was nicely done, but not so exceptional that I would go out of my way to return. Service was mediocre, despite a small crowd.

We ate here after a long day of hiking. WOW, the food was amazing. The entertainment was incredible. The ambiance was relaxed, but happening. The food was reasonably priced. Loved the pizza. Highly recommended.

Most people go here to get a little more variety and a big price break from the high Kohala Resort prices which can be extreme. This restaurant does an overall good job with pizza and pasta and has some creative flair in their menu items. Atmosphere is casual and service is friendly and personalble when they are not krazy busy. WELL WORTH A VISIT IF YOU ARE NEAR KAWAIHAE HARBOR AREA ON YOUR DRIVE TO NORTH KOHALA
