We were excited to try out Zano's as we just moved up here a coupe of months ago. We've really enjoyed Rubicon's at the Northstar Village, but decided to try somewhere different. Well, after printing up coupons from THEIR website, my husband picked up the pizza and was told he couldn't use the coupon as it had expired. WHAT?!?! Why would you have coupons on your website that have expired? The person at the counter then gave him coupons he could use for his next purchase - they were the SAME EXACT ones as the ones on their website except for different expiration dates.
Knowing that Truckee is a very small town and knowing that word of mouth is everything, why wouldn't they honor this coupon? Very disappointing...nevermind the fact that the restaurant was empty.
The pizza was good, not great, but being that the service was sub-par, well, I don't think we'll be back anytime soon. Too bad because we love pizza.
Whatever happened to customer service?!?!? Sorry Zano's, you get only 2 stars. Work on your customer service in that the customer is always (at least most of the time) right.
