This is the best Chinese food around, From Red Bluff to Chico.
You people that eat at the Flying Boat are all flying boats. Got food there two times and both times got home to find a bug of some kind in my food. Called them to tell them, and all they said was, it must of been in your car !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Never agine will I eat there.............
AWFUL! Why is there not a ZERO star rating available? The hot and sour soup was neither hot nor sour. It also had frozen peas and carrots in it, as well as chicken, which I've NEVER seen in hot and sour soup. To my horror, instead of the dark, exotic mushroom slices, there were bland, ugly canned mushrooms in the dish. Cheapskates can't even serve fresh mushrooms! The chicken and veggie dish we got was equally bland, also with more canned mushrooms. The service was terrible and the waitress turned into a (insert word of choice here) when she saw that we were dissatisfied. I tried to spice up the food with soy sauce and hot chili oil. When the the chili oil did nothing, I got suspicious and put about 1/4 of a tsp directly into my mouth, chili chunks and all. You know what?? NOTHING. Just tasted like oil, gross! I would not have been surprised to find Jed Clampett in the kitchen giving orders. We left 3/4 of the food behind and joked about the owners' ancestors either rolling over in the grave at their butchered cuisine or laughing about the fact that they were passing this food off on people who don't know any better at full restaurant price. My advice: buy some frozen Chinese food at Safeway or head down to the Flying Boat. Their food is decent and family owned by a very pleasant and accommodating bunch!
