Cassidy's Family Restaurant, Oroville

Today August 3, 2011---Had the worst service and then the worst lunch served after 40 minutes of waiting....when we arrived at about 11:50am we were sat at a table, in plain site of the kitchen pass through!! The onion rings were not done cooking, batter raw in the middle and the onion not even hot and the grease was dripping out of the half cooked batter.......patty melt was two pieces of cheese and a burger, much smaller than the swirled rye pumpernickel bread it was served on, no thousand island dressing, which I asked for, and definitely not one grilled onion, just plain bread two pieces of cheese and the hamburger patty that was smaller than McDonald's regular hamburger patty, absolutely NO FLAVOR! One of the other ladies that was with me got a chicken quesadilla, watered down avocado dip, and the chicken was cut into cubed chunks, not pulled apart, which indicated to us that it was probably canned chicken!! She said it didn't taste bad, but not good! For the third lady at the table, she got the pulled pork, special of the day, looked and tasted like it was potted meat, we all get commodities and that is what it looked and tasted like....to say the least, crappy food and the service was the worst....waiting for that long a period of time, the food should have been spectacular, not crappy! I so see why there were only a total of 14 customers in there on the 3rd of the month, which happens to be my SSA day....bad, bad, all bad!! Oh yeah, the flies were all over us and the food at our table, and we had to get up from our table and go to another table to get the catsup!! What is with all this?? I will never cross their paths again, my money is way to hard to come by to waste it on junk canned food, undercooked food, non flavored food and on top of everything else, fight the flies!!
