Maria's Mexican Restaurant, Grass Valley

Horrible service and some of the worst mexican food I have ever had the displeasure to eat! I have given them more than one chance and they continue to disappoint! I will take the drive to Reno or Sacramento to eat a descent meal!

This is the worst Mexician food I've ever eaten...it is like slop. Sitting at the round bar is good but everything else just is a rip off. Oh well, it is the only Mexician restaurant in Grass Valley so what do these people really know about food up here.

I think the only reason Maria's gets decent reviews is because in this little town no one knows any better. Two words...... No Mole's. Any halfway decent Mexican restaurant even trying to be authentic would at least pretend to serve a mole. It's crappy pretend mexican food....but it is Grass Valley, and really sad that people here actually think Maria's is good food......at least go to Sombrero's in Auburn.

After living in Grass Valley for the past 5 years and going to Maria's my husband and I find it to be a wonderful small town restaurant. They are extremely accomodating and the food is wonderful. So glad to see they are making it larger as they always have a full house. Keep up the good work employees and staff or Maria's!

Maria's used to be the best. I have been going there for years and find that the food is getting worse, service not good and the managers seem to have sucked on a lemon. Don't try the vegie burrito. The menue says that it has sour cream, avacado, etc. Nope they leave those items out now. Want your refill of coke in a to go cup..pay for it. Got really cheap. I stayed away for 4 months and tried it again last week. Sad but nothing has changed.

Unfortunately, I am only in Grass Valley on occasion. I plan a trip to Maria's for lunch everytime I am up that way. Very good food and the servings are gigantic. This place is a must if you are in the mood for mexican food and anywhere near grass valley. The drinks are good there too!

Terrible service, long lines, cold/stale food... I can't see what the attraction is.

Marias is the best! The only thing I would change is how busy it is (obviously a good thing for them). Can't say enough.

Had wonderful food and the margarita was the best I ever had. You have to try the cheesecake deep fried in tortilla dessert, the yummiest and dip it in caramel sauce.
