My family and I eat there regularly. We like the good food, reasonable prices and friendly service. If something happens to be not to our liking, they always offer to fix it and go out of their way to make us happy. Love the bread pudding and chocolate pie. :)) Understand, it's a coffee shop!!! If you want a great meal, go to the Gold Country Steakhouse, but be ready to pay a very high price.
sorry to say but it wasn't very good food at all as well the service wasn't very good either!! for our 33.00 dollars we got 3 sandwiches and 3 iced tee drinks, my hambuger was over cooked, black crispy around the edges, wilted lettuce shriveled up tomatoes, way over cooked fries and a stale hardened bun!! i would have sent it all back but had no time to reorder or be imbarrased about the lousy burger at 9.00 dollars, come to find out that the other 2 guest felt the same way, lousy food for a premium price, never a how is your meal or a refill for our drinks and to top it off when paying we waited 12 minutes with no one in front of us, just stood at the register for 12 minutes till someone came to take our money!! sorry never again for me, maybe a off day for them but none the less 33.00 dollars from hard earned money towards a what we call a lousy meal with lousy service!! friday the 11th at 2:pm....
Never in my life have I been so poorly served and just down right disgusted by the service and the quality of food at a resturant. ON top of that, I was continuously lied to by a server named Debbie. I call in orders on average of once a week, and for the last 3-4 calls, I was told that the particular meal I wanted was not available because they turn the fryers off at 8 p.m. Tonight at 10:30 p.m., my boyfriend calls in the exact same meal, and was able to order it. So I just want to know why this person lied to me? Is she just flat out lazy, or does she just not care that this establishment loses business due to her lack of caring? I encourage people that if you do choose to eat here, avoid Debbie at all costs, but I would strongly recommend going to Cassidy's. They have the best service and quality, and prices are a lot better.
This place is still disgusting. I have tried to eat here about once a year and it gets worse everytime. The servers are a joke, they barely work. I have been the only table more than once and been forced to listen to the cooks and servers discuss their drunken party from the night before while getting up to get my own coffee refill. The food is brought to the table undercooked and cold. No one asks how your meal is...if they ever come back to the table other than to drop the check that is.
Gold City Grill is supposed to be the same owner but I have experienced a world of diffrence between the fantastic diner food and great service. Gold City Grill is a great diner. Cornucopia should be bulldozed
This place has really gone down hill. I used to love going there they had a good menu veriety, good speciels, and great pies.Their bisciuts&gravy is still good but also the price value of some of the food is poor. My wife ordered a Fish basket she got two tiny peices with fries and it cost $7dollers thats a joke. They dont have a low carb section so if you are diabetic or on special diet there's nothing for you. I think maybe the owner has tomany restraunts and service is suffering. If i'am wrong in the reason than great but they need to do something.
My husband and I have eaten at Cornucopia and although the food isn't great, it's acceptable. I have found the salads to be less than fresh on most occasions, so I steer clear of those. The same person owns three restaurants in Oroville, so if you like Cornucopia, you'll like Blueberry Twist and Gold City Grill. The menu and food quality is about the same in all three.
