I was there with my friend for lunch in March, both in our 50s, we were the youngest customers. I loved the help yourself coffee, the choises available for the sandwiches and the local silver haired clientel. The help was friendly and efficient, the food very good, I plan to lunch there every time I fly from home in Hawaii to Indian Valley, which is several times a year. The soaps and lotions for sale by the door are wonderful products too, by the way. The whole experience was a real treat.
Although I know many people who hang out here, I don't know if they do it because this is the only daytime restuarant in town, or if they truly like it. I've only been once, but it wasn't so great that I have returned, or even plan to. The food was decent, not wonderful. And although the people themselves were really nice, by time I got my food, it was cold. If I wanted to eat cold food for breakfast, I wouldn't have ordered biscuits and gravy. LOL
