Not as good as the last time we visited and not a good experience….I finally figured out what was going on….our waitress (and maybe others in the kitchen) may have had a problem with patrons of ethnicity other than white. Long story short….that had to be it. First of all there was a problem with her ordering our drinks, and when I asked if more ribs were going to be put out she didn’t answer me…3 times I asked. I just figured she didn’t hear me. They did not put any out there for some time and by the time we were done with our salads, bread and more salad, they finally brought some out but not much. Other people from the other side would come and check too to see if more were put out. But we got ours, and these had more fat on them than the last time we ate there. Also, they tasted like they were just cooked in an oven and the bbq sauce was just put on top of them before serving. She never came to collect our dirty plates so we were stacking them one on top of the other then we started putting them on the empty table next to us. It bothered my daughter that she wasn’t coming around collecting our plates…even on the other table. I told her if she wasn’t worried about it then we wont worry about it. But it was noticed that she took dirty plates from the other tables. She delieverd our bill early and said she said no rush I’m just putting this here. We thought that was odd. I just said let it sit there because we are going to take our time. Another group came in a little later and said they were there for the ribs and she told them that they are not serving any more ribs and that the buffet was closed. There was at least another hour to go (1 to 3 p.m.). I was not happy and of course it was showing on my face…she looked at me and I kept looking at her. I asked fiance if he would come back for the ribs again and he said no but he would try other things on the menu. For $10.79 and all-you-can-eat ribs, we should have gotten a better meal and friendlier service. My fiance never got more water and we had to ask for refills on the sodas. She never came back to ask how things were, ever. Finally, when it came to pay I showed my fiance the tax (x2 for a tip) and he showed me only $3. He put $3 on the table. I wouldn’t have tipped any thing. He told the cashier that the food was not that good. Of course…that went over her head. She asked me if I wanted to add a tip to the bill I said NO. Talking with my fiance about it again the next he said that the $3 was enough of an insult to let her know we were not happy. I said 50 cents would have been better. I came to realize that thinking of the whole experience, that she had a problem with 3 of us, Me and my two Kids. Also, I only notice one other guy in the whole place that was not of Hispanic nature. All the servers were white and around their mid 20s to 30s. That had to be the only reason why things were not right.
