Just had dinner there. I can vouch for the ribs. Fall off the bone tender...tasty too. A bit more sauce than I would've liked, but that's easily remedied. Based on my meal, if you go away hungry it's your own fault. Very reasonably priced too. No ambiance to speak of. Just great food with functional service.

Best food in town,plenty of it at a reasonable price.My son and I have ate there numerous times and never disappointed.The staff there are always friendly and go out of their way to serve you.I recommend this restaurant to any and all!

Whenever I pass through the Oroville area I try to time my visit for lunch at Gold City Grill. I've been stopping there since 2004 and they never disappoint. The way they cook chicken is the BEST I've ever had. Keep up the great work Gold City and I'll see ya next time!

Eh, it's ok. I've been there twice for breakfast. I've had better and I've had worse. The last time I went there we had problems with 2 out of the 4 glasses on our table, they had lipstick and/or food on them. They also charged us twice for the same meal and after being told never credited us. So, it's ok I guess.

Gold City has the best fried chicken in town, move over KFC! The price is right and you get a great meal. The servers are friendly and attentive to your needs as a guest. The place is always clean and the food is consistently good tasting and good value for the money. We recomend Gold City Grill to anyone visiting Oroville.
