I have to say that Shari's has always been great for me. I always enjoy my meal there. And by the way, they make the best Black Berry Preserves, you should ask to try some on your next visit.
On another note, I feel for the employees having to work on Christmas Day.... I just want you to know that I personally am thankful that you are open. It means that I will not be eating Christmas Dinner alone.
Oh, and people..... Don't forget to tip your server... Things that might go wrong with your food, is not your servers fault. The problem is in the Kitchen, and until you have worked in a Restaurant Kitchen, you are not qualified to make any comments about it.
I was in the business for over 30 years, so I do know a bit about the business. Oh, and if you do choose to eat at Shari's on Christmas, please don't expect snappy service, it's not going to happen... They will be way to busy to even blink, so do them a favor and give them a break and wish them a Merry Christmas and just enjoy being waited on...
What a crock. I cannot believe how our dinner went last night at Sharis. This was the first time we went there for dinner. Big Mistake. First of all the server got my wife's order wrong. Second, when my order came out the meat was over cooked, the eggs were undercooked (almost raw eggs) and everything else was cold. The second time my meal was served, the meat was way undercooked and the eggs were rock hard. Finally I gave up and ordered Chicken Fried Steak. Eggs were over cooked again, and the Chicken Fried Steak was slightly over cooked. It took us two hours to get our meals and eat. Normally it is only about an hour.... tops from the time we sit down until we leave. And on top of that, after all the problems, not even a free iced tea was offered and no manager came by. There will not be a next time at Sharis on Florin Road
