The whole dining experience is great. The food is exceptionally wonderful and the service is out of this world.

The food is wonderful-the best-the staff above and beyond! The owner a beautiful kind LADY! Everyone should experience Biba's at least once in their life - she is a wonderful lady.

this place is for snob...over priced and Italian huh? Well if you wish to spend your hard earned $$$$ you will be spending alot of it here. Small portions too. It just sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had been to Bibas before and it was nice. It was my fiancees birthday 09/19/. We arrived at 5:30, there was 4 of us, myself, my fiancee', his mom and dad. Both parents are in their late 80's. We were greeted and orders taken. We had told the wait person it was a birthday celebration. We got our soup, that tasted like watered down marinara sauce. Our dinners didn't get to us until past 7pm. The food was not what we expected at Bibas. We were pretty much ignored. We had to get back by 8pm and we needed to take our desert, which was part of the special but because it would melt two us us decided not to have any and two of us ate it very quickly. No one even said have a nice birthday or did anything special! Biba just walked by and ignored us. We are respected people in the community and to be treated in such a way was just not called for, We will never come back and will never recommend Bibas to anyone. Tell Biba we are sorry for this but she should not take things for granite and should make sure that all guest are treated with good service respect and are taken care of on a night that should have been special but was a very un happy experience for all of us.

Biba has historically had the best italian food in sacramento. But over the last few years, service has plummeted to levels that are inexcusable for a restaurant in this price range. Expect long waits to be seated. Long waits to see your waiter or get bread and water. Pretty much, expect a lot of waiting. We have had 3 dreadful experiences in a row here and we no longer go back.

The people, the ambiance, and the food combine to make this a memorable experience. I have eaten at many of the finest restaurants in the USA and owned and operated a French restaurant and this place belongs in the pantheon of fine dining establishments in California. Yes, it is Italian, but that is just a tag that places it in a category that many Americans don't understand. It must be simply considered a great place to extend a meal into a fine dining experience.

I had dinner with my family at Biba in December. The food was unadulterated, delicious, and plentiful. The quality and presentation matched that of a five star restaurant in Boston that charges twice the price. The wait staff was impeccable. It was truly a special experience.
