The Distillery is the place to go for a drink, meet people, enjoy live bands and eat a great steak dinner. The entrees consist of large, hot and juicy steaks sure to delight any dedicated carnivore. Wednesday through Saturdays, guests are entertained by tunes from some of the areas top bands, singers and musicians. Despite the close quarters, the sound is great. The music ranges from rock to punk and reggae.
Myself and a large group of my friends used to be regulars at this bar- have always loved it, never had a problem before. Nine of us went in recently, got a large table, and four of us immediately got our drinks at the bar. The other five trickled in and were saying their hellos to us as someone who worked for the bar came up to our table and told us that we needed to immediately buy more drinks or leave. The four of us that had already been there and ordered drinks showed him our drinks. He said, You need to get more or you can t stay, and walked away.
I was appalled and insulted. He was VERY rude! This is a group that normally comes in and spends easily a couple hundred within the group (my tab is usually approx. $30 alone!).
Needless to say, this bar just lost an entire group of twenty or so regulars. None of us will ever set foot in this bar again, which is sad because we normally really like the karaoke. However, the staff is usually rude but we ve ignored it until now. This was the breaking point. Never again.
The quality of the food is just great! The Service gets a little slow now and then but is overall good. I have been eating there for years. The place does get a bit noisy but it is a good casual place to go and a have a nice dinner for a good value. I highly recommend the Prime Rib for dinner! The half and half for lunch is great too! They also have great salads!
Serivce was horrible, food was decent and cheap. I'm not too picky about restaurants or food, but there were 3 people at the bar other than me, and it took the bartender over 10 minutes to come over to us and get us our drinks. Same with the waitress - after giving her our check, it took her 27 minutes to return our change. If they change waitstaff, it would be worth a trip.
