Hana Tsubaki Restaurant, Sacramento

The restaurant was recommended by some friends, we decided to try it out. Facilities - small locale. About 20 tables, small sushi bar. Small parking lot available, sufficient. Ambiance - evening I ate, was very pleasurable. Low noise, enough to talk without yelling. Easy listening music. Food - excellent. We have eaten at many sushi places. As soon as we place the food in our mouths and took the first bite, we we noticed how good it tasted. The texture was perfect. The whole table made comments to that effect. We had one combination dish. The meat was perfect, medium cooked, not tough and tasty. Tempura could have been better. We frequent Mikuni but, I think we found a better value at Hana and better ambiance, more relaxing.

Average tasting Japanese restaurant. The food is not bad just not the best tasting in town. The prices are average for what you get. Other than that they have great service. Ask for Jus' James.

Great food, love the seasme chicken. Nice atmosphere very clean. Must go.

My favorite Japanese restaurant in town.. the food is always great but the setting is what I enjoy the most. Very serene and peaceful like. Also has excellent service. I'd recommend it to anybody!
