Although hidden in the shadows of a strip mall, Cafe Morocco serves excellent food in an unpretentious ambiance. Traditional staples like hummus, falafel and kabobs complement other specialties that are exotic. A good choice is the Moroccan Tagine (a dish of chicken or lamb with vegetables and spices) or Mujadara (an Egyptian concoction of chicken with rice and lentils mixed with spice and vegetables). For a lunch treat, try a Shawarma, a Mediterranean style burrito!
This is one of the better restaurants in town. I don't know what these other reviewers ordered but they obviously did not order correctly. I have been going here for a very long time and most of the time the food is great. The shish Kabobs are very good and the Sesame chicken is wonderful. I highly recommended this restaurant
One of the top 5 meals I have had in my life! Not to mention the best service I have ever had. My wife and I took some friends to Cafe Morocco for dinner and were a bit thrown off by the lack of patrons. We even thought about leaving. But the server was so funny and witty that we decided to stay, and i'm glad we did! The Mezza plate was incredible as was the rest of our food and desert. I recommend everyone to visit here and ask for Tina to be your server.
Pretty good food for the prices. The food was decent. The place is a hole in the wall. But the service was friendly and fast. They have a belly dancer who dances....but I have never seen a belly dancer take tips as she was when I was there. I almost forgot I was at a restaurant and not a strip club.
