My girlfriend and I enjoy seafood, and this is the most convenient place to go. The service isn't outstanding, the atmosphere is that of a TGI'Friday's, but to get crab and lobster at an affordable price and never having to overpay is worth it.
We usually go to the Red Lobster on Sunrise, but decided to try the one on Howe. We re so glad we did. The service at both locations is very good, but the food is better at the Howe location. We love Red Lobster. I just with we could afford to go more than once or twice a year.
Wow...A few years ago I use to go to Red Lobster ALL THE TIME! It was great. The last time I went there with my Daughter was just that...the last time!!
First we were seated at a dirty table, the hostess DID say sorry and hurry to wipe off the food that was still there. We ordered with no problem, got our salads with no problem, then we had a problem...there was a table of young men in maybe their mid 20's that got seated next to us. For some reason they could not stop talking about what they did to girls the previous night (very nasty talk), vulgar, rude, and laungage was aweful! Did I mention the 3 year old grandson was there with us too? I asked the server about it and she just said giggled and said oh well, what can I do?
WHAT CAN YOU DO??!!!! ask them to stop maybe?
The Dinner came, the Alaskan crab legs had hardly any meat in them, we never got the butter, had to ask for lemon and refills and then finially asked for the manager and vented on him.
He said sorry and asked what he could do about the problems, my daughter said to either bring more legs worth what we paid for ($40 for her's alone) or take it off the bill. He brought 3 more legs. I am not impressed with their service anymore, or their menu, or the clientel they have. I felt like I was in a Dennys in the WORST part of town!
Never again sorry to say!
My wife usually takes me here on fathers day or my birthday, the food is great and I always leaved this place absolutely stuffed after the chedder biscuits, meal, and the chocolate cookie and ice cream sundae dessert there. Man good food.
The only dislike I have about this restaraunt is that you may have a wait time....however I have found a way around that, If Im really hungry and cant wait I call my order in and its usually ready by the time I arrive and if its not then I have a drink at the bar :-) while waiting. The food is great.
