Mikuni Sushi-Midtown, Sacramento

Excellent food and staff... Mikuni is really loud and packed .. tables are close to each other and makes for little room.. if there is young people with us this is a great place to go.. kids seem to like loud places.. if I am trying to impress friends and associates I will go elsewhere..

I would have to say Mikunis is a good place to eat. The food is fresh and the people are very friendly. They are wayyyyyyyyyyyy over priced for what they serve. You can go to many places in Sacramento that serve the same quality food from the same distributor for half the price. If you want a good atmosphere with descent food go to mikunis, if you want excellent sushi at a fair price look other places...

Usually the best sushi in town. Sometimes I wonder if they are expanding too fast as the food quality varies lately. I do love the atmosphere and you can count on a good lively environment on any weekday as well as off peak times. Friday and Sat nights can get a little crazy; the clientele is there to see and be seen. I recommend sitting at the sushi bar so you can get your food more quickly and accurately, plus it's more fun. Now that they have happy hour, the prices are more reasonable--but still cheaper than some others like Mason's and 55. the BBQ mix is great, so are the special scallops with extra sauce.

I like their sushi rolls, but it's too pricey!!! I walked out paying nearly $50-60 for dinner just on myself. You're paying more for the atmosphere than anything else. I don't recommend it for families, including your children. The restaurant tends to be noisy and it's hard to talk to your friends without yelling.

Hands down the best Sushi! I can eat Mikuni once a week.

The atmosphere is nice, food is tasting good. However, I hate to say I had a bad acute diarrhea that night, the kind that really hurts.
