Ernesto's Mexican Food, Sacramento

This place is a disgrace to mexican food. You are in the central valley poeple! There is authentic mexican food all around you and its very inexpensive! I knew this place was going to suck when I walked in and noticed that 90% of the clentel was white. This is a bad sign. and I'm white! I ordered fish tacos and they were horrible. Dried up pieces of rubber. I would rather they stuck a piece of van de kamp frozen fish in a tortilla. Seriously. And a draft tecate for $4.50!?!?!? wtf. stay away.

Ernesto's serves terrible Mexican food at high prices!! I ordered the Chimichanga.It was NOT deep fried ,was drowning in sauce and had no flavor!! The taco was not good either! The servers don't care. Avoid this place. Try Tres Hermanas the food is excellent!

Ernesto's suck, people just go there cause it's cheep and in the midtown area, But there are not the only Restaurant in Midtown and surely not the only Mexican Restaurant, you get what you pay for!! food is not all that service sucks and management sucks even more. Rather Eat at Taco Bell or Del taco!!

The service at Ernesto's is terrible beginning with the hostess. The prices are not cheap and it's a wonder why they do not strive to be customer friendly in a poor economy. I understand that they do not need my business as this is evident through the service I received. I feel that there are better alternatives downtown with much more reasonable prices and are wanting my business. Ernesto's will not be getting any future business from me.

This is definitely one of my favorites in Sacramento. I've been there a handful of times and each visit has been amazing! The waiters are always attentive and very pleasant. Great ambiance, delicious margaritas, Mariachi on Fridays, nice outdoor seating.. I have absolutely no complaints. Will go there again soon! :D

We went there for my birthday. We haven't been there for a long time and now I remember why. The service was just alright, but the food wasn't very tasty. We will probably not return in the near future.

Food of course good,drinks and good atmosphere,plus the hostesses are hot!

Not so good, took an hour to be seated, the food was less than great. I've had better burritos from a taco truck.thinking they should put money into the food and not the one page ads in Sacramento magazine.

My friend and I both got sick after eating here. The beef in the flauntas tasted like it had been sitting in the trash for 3 days and then deep fried. Also can anyone tell me what's up with a brown thick slime layer around the tamale? Yuck!!!!
