Joe's Crab Shack, Sacramento

So my girl and I went there just today and i have to say that I was not impressed with the food. We shared the bean town bake which has two whole lobsters. I was really looking forward to the lobster but ended up really digging the clams. The lobster and the shrimp pretty much had no taste. The sausage,corn, and potatoes were ok. Its too bad the food wasnt better because the service and the atmosphere were great.

I love Joe's it's so yummy the seafood is really good and so are the appitizers, the only thing is if you want to get the best service don't go on a weekend it's going to be packed and the servers are going to be busy most of the night you can get good service on a busy night but it all depends on the weekend that you go and how many are in your party. I've been to joe's quite a bit and have learned when the best times are to go and winter or fall are the best seasons to go. Summer your asking for craziness! the service is really good and they try to make it as enjoyable as possible. You can't make reservations so plan on waiting on a busy night or have someone in your party go early to put your names down. If you are going during a major event in Old Sac then put your name in early and that way you don't have to wait as long.

Just went for valentines day with my hubby and friends and had a wonderful time, period, the strawberry margaritas were fabulous and i think i had the long island bake, which came out hot and steamy in a huge pot, it was alot of food to eat, i also recomend getting the double dip appetizer that was delicious, I will definitely be going again, it was just a load of fun and i loved the staff dancing with the patrons it was just awesome, me and my party had a wonderful time what a great valentines day...!!!

the crab pick that they gave me to pick out some meat was bigger then the crab legs itself. i barely got any crab out of my order and left hungry.

This place is has horrible service. The staff acts friendly but they truly suck at their jobs. They pretend that they care when really they just want to goff around and dance like idiots. It took over 40 minutes to get our food and when we asked why it took so long we were told that it didn't. They said that we placed our order at 1240 when I know for a fact that we place it at 1220. Then after trying to talk to the manager she called us liars. I was so freaking angry. I will never eat at this whole again.

WENT WITH MY GIRLFRIEND AFTER A VISIT TO DOWNTOWN PLAZA... THE PRICES WERE TOO DAMN HIGH! I COULD OF GOT FULL FROM MCDONALDS DOLLAR MENU... THE PLACE WAS NICE THOUGH AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE.. BUT PRICES WAS WHAT GOT ME
