The Firehouse Restaurant, Sacramento

Came here for our anniversary. Expected small portions and high prices. I guess we came for the experience. Courtyard dining was gorgeous. Waiters were buzzing everywhere. Ordered three courses which took about 20 minutes between each course til the next (dunno why it took so long). Food was incredible! Especially liked the heirloom tomato napoleon and filet mignon with bone marrow butter. Didn't care too much for the foie gras. Chef brought us a sample of cucumber-mint sorbet that was rather refreshing. Despite the small portions by the end of the meal, we were both full and didn't have room for dessert. (I was looking forward to the Grand Marnier Souffle too). Overall great anniversary dining experience. May be back for that souffle!

The best place in Sacramento! I come to Sacramento almost every weekend, and I love this place. Amazing Food, Service, and decor.

This place is wonderful. I have enjoyed coming here time and again. Always a treat to be served like a queen!

Food was pretty decent. The Delmonico was a real treat for me and my friends. I agree with some other comments that the decor is really strange, tacky in my opinion. Our waiter was great, funny, and was able to tell us about the history of the restaurant. I wish I could remember his name, young guy, spiked up hair, young, and cute :). The rest of the staff was really nice too, the wine guy that worked there also gave us a tour of the cellar downstairs.

My experience was simply a pleasure from beginning to end. My server was superb and the atmosphere was amazing. I want to thank your establishment for their kindness and ultimately great food. I would to give credit where credt is due. My friend and I went on Monday the 25th of August and the staff was simply sweet and entertaining such a great experience. We will go back again.... To the fella who used to work there, obviously things have changed because the screw top on the wine bottle was not imagined. Possibly you should return so that the lack of training mentioned by me and another reviewer can be addressed.
