Sake Ginger Clams Garlic Bread Pork Kahula Fusilli. All Delicious... Sometimes they run out of the clams...at both this location and the Elk Grove location...that's the only downside because sometimes that's all we are craving when we go there.

The food was great. Quantity, variety, and flavor! Plan to sit indoors or outdoors. Very popular so arrive with time to spare. The servers were very attentive. Will recommend to friends.

We had pizza and the spinach salad and they were just perfect! The place was bustling and yet the service was very good. Love it and so will you!

A guest and I were there for lunch 12/18/2006 - we both had the fettuccni. Service was fast - food was bad. What COULD have been a fantastic dish was spoiled by the exceessive amount of CHILI OIL that it was swimming in. VERY oily. My lips are still on fire. A little could have gone a long way - especially in a dish that normally would not even have chili oil as an ingredient. I came to an Italian restaurant to have Italian food - had I wanted hot, spicy food, I'd have gone for Thai or Mexican. As it was (too hot and too oily), neither I nor my guest were able to finish our lunch and due to time constrants, it was not feasible to ask for a correction or replacement on the dish.

On a busy night be prepared for a long wait. If you can get past that, you'll have a good chance of having good food and a good time within a nice ambiance. Once known for their exceptional pizza, Paesanos has declined in this area. In the past I found their pizza selection to be unusual and suprisingly good. I don't know where the pizza creativity went, but it has left the restaurant. For now, I would advise avoiding the pizza and trying a pasta or salad. There you will still find some great flavors. Although getting a timely table can be very diffucult when busy, once seated I felt their service has been exceptional under the circumstances. The wait staff seems to go out of their way to cater to your special needs and are often very good at anticipating those needs. This is not a restaurant I would think of when going out with the kids, but we have always felt just as comfortable when accompanied by our children. I offer much thanks for this. I recommend Paesanos if you don't mind putting up with weekend crowds and have ample time to spend having dinner on busy nights.

We have ate at the Elk Grove place about 4 times. Went there last Sunday afternoon and got horrible service! We were offered no water or bread and waited 25 minutes for drinks that never came. There were only 6 tables taken and the Bartender (Manager) was delivering food instead of pouring drinks. needless to say, we walked out, but not before giving our thoughts to the so called manager who really didn't seem to care. Oh, but they did get our kids dough to play with while they were starving. Fire the manager! She's easy to spot as she tries to look like a dude and dresses sloppy!

How does proscutto pesto become pesto pomodoro? A creation so bland, an insult to Italians, wouldn't eat this. Yes, the pies have become worse. pretensiously Awful, except for the dyslexic tart.

I have gone to Paesanos about 8 times and the food is always great. My favorite dish is the Pollo de Modeno. The garlic bread is very crispy and tasty. My favorite appetizer is the fried calamari with their special dipping sauce. The pizza is also very good. It's a very noisy place, so in order to hold a conversation, you have to talk quite loudly. Parking is difficult to find since it is in midtown.
