The patio seating at Paesanos Pizzeria is a pleasant sun-dappled space in which to enjoy truly innovative interpretations of fusion cuisine. Pastas include pad Thai noodles (snow peas, broccoli, julienne carrots and noodles with ginger sauce), Penne Roma, Rigatoni Asparago and others featuring fresh produce and spicy sauces. The pizzas are all baked in a brick oven. The "vegetarianno" features crust brushed with olive oil and garlic, layered with fontina cheese, grilled onions, spinach, sauteed mushrooms and other delights.
Horrible experience! I had hair in my food and when I asked to speak to management, she refused until I persisted for my waiter to go and get her, the manager was unprofessional and had a downright rude demeanor about her. I will never visit this restaurant again and hopefully anyone I know will never visit this restaurant again ! it was not very clean or tidy inside either.
One of my favorite restaurants in midtown. Love the gorganzola and fruit pizza and the spinach salad with polenta croutons. The sangrias are great. They have a great weekday happy hour where the martinis are like $2.50 and great apps. Love sitting on the patio, the staff is friendly and the bathrooms are clean (important!) Fun block to sit outside and watch everyone go by.
I love this place everytime we go we have something new and everytime our tastebuds are lovin every bite... I would highly recommend Pizano's it is fun and the prices are reasonable... And i promise you you won't be disappointed... If I had to recommend one thing it would have to be the whole menu... :)
Ok of all the Pizza joints in this town this place has to be the best. They have a a great menu, blingin sauces, (the chiptle smokin hot rocks) everything tastes so fresh, and a pretty cool professional yet down to earth staff. Great place just to pop in really quick and have beer and split an appetizer with a friend before going out!
This is the best place to eat by far in the downtown Sacramento area. If you are looking for casual and fun, yet still a bit intimate in the evening, this is the place to go. It is very reasonable in price and the service is outstanding. The servers all have character and are very personable. If you have a first date, this is the place to go....
The inside provdies a cool, hip feeling- that all ages would love- and the outside is great if it isn't too hot to people watch and to get some fresh air!
I used to go here at least twice a week when I was in college 10 years ago. I just moved back to the area and is still by far the best place in town!
Paesano's Pizzeria has been a favorite my girlfriend and me. We like to share a spinach and feta salad and then split a small-to-medium sized pizza. I've had about three or four pizzas and they've all been solid. You can have a nice little lunch or mid-day snack to share for about $20 to $25. Your meal is intimate with soft lighting, good service and a calm atmosphere when you go during the afternoon. It gets pretty busy at night, so expect a slight wait, but then, that's no different than going to any restaurant at night.
The staff was friendly, but this restaurant is VERY noisy. We are always looking for Italian restaurants that replicate our experience in Italy but few ever hit the mark. We had the bruschetta, which was good but lacked any punch in the flavor--at least it was very fresh. I had the D'Angelo which was good, but my husband had the Risotto with Asparagus which was VERY tasty and perfectly seasoned. They give you just enough bread, not too much. We got out of there with dinner for two, a couple drinks each, and the bruschetta appetizer for $50 including tip. Pretty reasonable. It just was so darn noisy with the background music and the loud talking bouncing off the brick walls. Loved the big painting with the woman on the Vespa.
