We went there recently for a birthday party and it was awesome. The service was great, the food was good and the atmosphere of upbeat. I went there about 6 months ago when they first opened. We thought it OK at that time. But in 6 months since they have clearly worked out any kinks that they had had. The menu is smaller and they are better are fewer items than a wide range of them. The bar is awesome. Plenty of tvs, good bartenders with personalities, and spacious. I highly recommend this place for a small or large group.
This place is not that bad as other posters have made it sound. Not the best in town but the bartender was great and there are some good beers on tap. Plenty of TVs to watch the game, although no flat screens. The food is decent and they have lots of options. I will be going back. It is a relaxed local atmosphere.
Unfortunately when you change sometimes it's not for the better. My Girlfriend and I visted this place a few weeks ago and it was good, they had a Large menu of items and I had their Steak dish as well as appietizers and they promptly brought us chips and salsa. So we went back there to have it again just today and was suprised by a shortened menu and they took off the steak dish as well as other items. I had the tri tip dish with corn on the cob and french fries I was not given an option on the side like last time. The corn on the cob was gummy and gross and I really don't care for french fries so I only had a few. Unfortunately it was a BIG let down. I'll give it one more shot hopefully things will get better, but when you shorten the menu and take off good items for bad, it doesn't take long before people stop returning.
Visited the Hacienda with 3 friends and ordered a pitcher of Margaritas...we wanted to order food to go with our drinks, but waitress NEVER returned to our table to ask if we needed anything...never offered a refill on an iced tea, or more chips and salsa, or even asked if we would like another drink. Waitress was outside smoking or talking to friends at bar. Tha Hacienda is not close to what it was a few years ago...will not go back.
