Marlene's & Glen's Diner, Plymouth

I have never eaten there. I called about a lost coat of my employer that was left there & the lady who answered the phone was soo sweet..I am definately going to stop in & try the food next time I'm in Plymouth...if the service is that good, I'm sure the food will be great as well.

I live in the area and we call this place dead fly diner for a reason!! the food does come in large portions but it also comes with a costco size amount of grease. The seats and tables are so sticky its almost impossible to slide into the both.

Marlene & Glen's used to be in Jackson. When they moved to Plymouth, the quality of the food did not change. My husband, daughter, grandson, and I drive from Sacramento from time to time to have breakfast there. Good old home cooking. Love it!!!

We have patronized this establishment many times when we visit the 49er s RV Park mainly for breakfast. I can say that their food is very good and the portion are very generous. Since they are just about the only cafe open on Sunday that s the place to be. This place is absolutely busy with customers one after the other. Although the last 2 times we had to wait up to 1hr and 15 minutes for our meal with apologies and always checking on when the food was ready. The waiter was very pleasant and always checked to see if we needed something. I believe the next time we visit it will be earlier in the morning. Don t be discourage by my comment because I still intend to revisit. They really have good food.

have to totally disagree with Moni.....they have the leanest pastrami I have ever had and that is a test for greasiness. great food, fun atmosphere. have made the 45 minute trip many times. just be prepared for it to be packed on weekends. I go during the week.

These guys rock! More food than you can usually think about eating, and done well. Just make sure that you are going on a weekend, that you are not in a hurry if you arrive late morning.

The food is great, as is the service. Portions are large. There's always plenty to share. Go to have a good time, and enjoy local, friendly service.

I visited the area from Pennsylvania and when I walked in there I felt like I never left home. Added bonus was the food was great and portions were way more then generous. If you visit the area, stop in for good food and friendly people.
