My husband and I stopped by for a quick lunch. It has been atleast 5 years since I have been at a Chevy's.The first thing that caught my attention was the salsa and chips they brought to our table. The bowl of salsa was so small and the basket of chips was barely able to hold a handful of chips. Then my husband ordered their nachos. I'm not kidding. There was 8 chips with meat on top covered in cheese. Plus a very small side of sour cream and guacamole. My 10 year old could have polished it off. It was not worth near the 7.99. Mine was the combo plate. It was ok not great but not bad. For 13.99 I expected better. Plus you add in a 2.89 and I'm out. Look, I have no problem paying for quality or service but honestly this was a sad lunch for the money. Service was decent. There are so many better places to have lunch.
My son took me there for Mother's Day for lunch. It was my first time and I must say I was extremely impressed. The food was excellent (the Chile Rellenos were huge and so authentic). The portions were very large, the prices were very reasonable for the amount of food, the service was great and the food was delivered very fast and piping hot. The resteraunt is very large and was packed being Mothers Day, but the service was extremely good. I would recommend Chevy's to even the pickiest diners if you want great Mexican food. This will definitely become one of mine and my husbands favorite places to eat at least once a week. Try them...you won't be sorry you did. Thank you Chevy's crew for making my Mother's Day lunch a truly memorable and tasty one. 5 stars for all of you.
I love this Chevy's. The food tasted great and it came out of the kitchen in a flash. The employees were very hospitable. They made me feel like I was family. I will return here in the future. Great job Chevy's crew.
