Sushi Nobu, Davis

Been there for lunch buffet. The women waitress service is real bad. Force to eat rice. Cannot order without rice (sashimi). Try to fill people up with rice. No fried rice or noodle as advertise. Anywhere in Davis is better than this one.

I tried the sushi nobu last week because my friend told me how good it is,the sushi is so tasty( like crazy monkey roll & bay roll) and the fish is so fresh( like salmon, tuna,hamachi, saba & albacore), I can not believe they can fresh make such good sushi for buffet during busy lunch hours. The price is cheap too, for friday & saturday only $9.95, It is true that sushi nobu is the best sushi restaurant in davis. If you want to go you must try the salmon & alaska ,crazy monkey ,lion king roll ,it is so so so good ! i

If you don't like to wait for your sushi, I would recommend you to sit at the sushi bar because you get direct contact with the sushi chef and once they're done making the sushi, they'll just hand them to you. But if you sit at the tables, the servers will have to bring you your sushi. The non-sushi items are on the table, so you can always munch on those while waiting. The sushi is really fresh though compared to other all-you-can-eat sushi restaurants that I have been to. The sushi was made right there and was not sitting on the boat for who-knows-how-long. Not as many varieties as other place, but hey, they're giving you FRESH SUSHI...and they have to make money. I really like the rolls they have. Lion King and Alaska are my favorites! Please go give them some support. If you want better quality sushi for great value (it's all-you-can-eat for goodness sake!), go to Sushi Nobu.

My friend took me to this place and I was amazed at how cheap the food was, and it was QUAILTIY SUSHI, I am a big sushi lover and the fish is just SUPER FRESH and the service was good too! Everytime I go the place seems to be packed so there were some waiting, but it is WORTH IT!! If you havent' tried SUSHI NOBU, TRIED IT, YOU WILL LOVE IT!!!

This is BY FAR THE BEST SUSHI PLACE IN DAVIS!! The price is CHEAP, SERVICE IS GREAT and BEST OF ALL THE FISH IS FRESH!! Everytime I go I always get great service and food and they DO NOT OVERCHARGE. They have servers bring you your orders so you do not need get out of your seats. They are really busy sometimes so there might be a short wait, but the food is made fresh, FOR THE PRICE AND THE QUALITY FOOD, YOU JUST CAN'T BEAT THIS PLACE, GO TRY IT, YOU WILL LOVE IT!!!

i've tried all the sushi place in Davis, and this is the best sushi place i can find. they have over 20 different kind of roll and sushi to choose from and their sushi were made frash. the best is only 9.50 per person. i don't know what the other people below talking about. because not only you can order as many rolls you want, the sushi meat is pretty large. way more/better/cheap then todai and fuji sushi. also the orange is on a table for self serving, so i don't know what is the person below talk about when he said you have to wait long time for it. i've bring soo many friends to their place and everyone love it soo much. some of them even drove from Bay Area to Davis just to eat there.

The food and price is great, the service could be better. But you hardly EVER have to wait.

THIS PLACE SHOULD BE OUT OF BUSINESS, YEAH SO? IT IS CHEAP 8.99 PER PERSON BUT ALL YOU PAY FOR IS RICE!!!
