i absolutely LOVE this place. cheap food all you can eat buffet. everything is fresh, place is clean, they have great customer service. i live in the east bay and i drive all the way to davis just to eat there sushi. but i warn you, you must get there early because a line forms right when they open otherwise you will not get a seat at the bar. sitting at the table is not bad at all either because they allow you to order the same food there. its great! im going to go back there today!!!
Best Sushi I have ever had.... That's all I have to say. Just watch the boats go aruond and grab whatever you want on it.. Don't forget you can go to the back and ask them to make whatever you want. Ribs, fried potatoes, and tempura!!! =]
THE CHEAPEST PLACE TO GET SUSHI FOR AN ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET! THEY HAVE SO MUCH VARIETY AND YOU CAN ASK FOR WHATEVER YOU DONT SEE ON BOATS! DO NOT BE SHY TO ASK ABOUT WHAT THEY HAVE! LUNCH TIME IS THE BUSIEST TIME CUZ ITS CHEAPER. YOU MIGHT END UP WAITING 2 HOURS SOMETIMES TO GET IN IF YOU DONT SHOW UP 2 HOURS EARLY. I SUGGEST COMING EARLY OR COMING AROUND 1:30. THERE DINNER IS A LITTLE MORE PRICIER AT 16.95 A PERSON BUT THEY HAVE MORE TO OFFER AT NIGHT. THERE SOME NEW THINGS AT DINNER TIME THAT I DID NOT SEE DURING LUNCH TIME. I RECOMMEND PAYING THE EXTRA $4 (COMPARED TO LUNCH TIME) AND COMING TO GET EXTRA VARIETY OF SUSHI. PLUS THERE ARE NO LINES DURING DINNER TIME. AND YES THE SUSHI IS GREAT! COME HUNGRY LEAVE HAPPY!
this is my favorite sushi buffet that actually has GOOD sushi. they offer their all-you-can-eat special every day of the week starting at 11:am til 2pm. for as low as 10.95! theres usually a huge line but its worth the wait. either show up early to be the first group to get in or come around 1pm and wait for about 20-30min max. staff is friendly and work to get you in quick and quickly get you out. you sort of feel like cattle but who can really sit for over an hour or two eating sushi anyway? try the fried banana, fried soft shell crab, fried oysters, or Y2K roll.
Fuji is one of the best kept secrets in Yolo County. The word seems to be getting out since the line goes down the block & around the corner before they open. Best to get there about 90 minutes early for a good spot. The sushi is top rate. Always fresh and generous portions of fish and always a great selection. You can even ask for things that aren't out for no extra charge. Great for kids and can accomodate large groups, but not easily.
i haven't had any sushi buffet quite like fuji sushi boat. for 11 dollars, you can have all the sushi and sashami you want. the quality is decent that you would want to come back. i just hope they have the same buffet policy for dinner. then it would be the bomb of sushi buffett.
