Jose's Mexican Restaurant, Jackson

I upgraded this restaurant to a two because the waiter was fairly attentive. The food is from cans possibly from the rice to the beans and salsa. I love Mexican food, especially good Mexican food and was so disappointed at how lousy the food was. The place is so attractive from the outside so was really hoping for good authentic food. I feel bad giving a poor review but if I had believed the poor reviews on this place rather than being taken in by the attractive building and hunger I would have saved my hard earned money. Since we ate so little of the food we followed our hunger hours later and ended up at Twisted Fork in Sutter Creek-well worth saving ourselves for.

I have eaten in this place for many years. The service usually is excellent, and the food is always good. Like every Mexican restaurant, there will be some that love it and some that prefer other styles of mexican food. We love it. AAA.

The quesidilla appetizer is yummy, the margaritas are decent and the food is fresh. Service is outstanding!

GREAT FAMILY ATMOSPHERE VERY FRIENDLY STAFF

This is the best restaurant in town! It's a great place to take the family out to eat or just to sit down and have a couple of drinks. You will definetly be satisfied with the service and the food!!!!!!!
