kirkwood inn is a fabulous, rustic restaurant with historic charm and appeal. A great place to go when on hwy 88 or visiting the Kirkwood Valley. The Breakfasts are my favorite, with pancakes and the full works. They have a very charming interior with fireplace and stone hearth. We've waited out many a blizzard near the warmth of the fire. Service can sometimes be slow, but the Krikwood Inn is a must!
Liked the ambiance of the saloon, but couldn't get of the fact of having to pay 10% sales tax, and 18% added gratuity because of having a six person group. I ordered the roastbeef dip. When it finally arrived, the fries were cold and hard, and the sandwich had maybe 3 slices of beef in it. The Au Jus dip tasted like it came from a carton.
The last time we were in Kirkwood Inn & Saloon we were completely disappointed. The restaurant was dirty and cold. We were waited on by some sloppy woman with no appeal at all. My wife's sandwich was served on a dry, stale roll and my burger and fries were warm at best. This place used to be a fun destination for both food and drink. They must have changed their staff and traded them in for Truck Stop cast offs.
