The Victorian house was first built around 1880 by Mr. And Mrs. White across from the Historic Placer County Courthouse. Mr. White was a blacksmith. The original walls are the brick walls. In 1980 the house was added onto and designed for a restaurant on the middle floor, a bar on the basement floor and with offices on the top floor. There are stories of ghosts sightings in the small meeting room in the historic dining room and downstairs in the bar.
