Chapala Cafe, Eureka

The service is not all that great neither is the food. The margaritas were okay though.

This used to be one of the best Mexican places in town until the cook branched off and started his own place called La Chaparita. Now, Chapala has horrible waitstaff and overpriced food but a great western group that plays on weekends. That group, the Tumbleweeds, bring the Old West trail songs right into your lap and dress the part as well. Be careful to make sure your order is correct as the waitstaff tends to get them wrong more than half the time. Better bet would be to go to La Chaparita or Ritas (GREAT margaritas there!)

Been here twice. The service is ok at best, the food the first time arrived cold and the order was wrong. On the next trip my son's taquito's were basically burnt and of course the order was wrong. I will say this, they have great margaritas. So I guess go for the drinks.

chapala doesnt know what mexican food is, they make there food the cheapest way and the restaurant is unconfortable and you get harrased by homeless people on the way in and on the way out, i suggest taco bell drive thru...

Garbage! You must try Rita's Mexican Restaurant it is a lot better then this restaurant. Ridiculous service and the food was cold. Rita's makes a lot better margaritas and has a wider more authentic and exclusive food!

My husband and I went to Chapala's for the first time on the Fourth of July with our family. There were lots of Events going on that night in Old Town and they were hopping, There service was great , As fast as can be expected for how many people they were serving.The portion were huge, the food was great the service was amazing.We both agree it's a hit .

We live in Eureka, and love eating out here. The staff is extremely friendly and the food is great. Huge portions too!! We also love their margaritas. They can accomodate large parties as well.

This is usually where I go when I feel like Mexican food. Excellent food, though it is Americanized. Get the Burrito Ranchero, you probably won't be able to finish it. I love the atmosphere, it's a very comfortable and kick back place to eat.
