CAREFUL when you go here if paying with a card. Rita's took a extra $1 tip when I noticed the bank statement. Service was not that good :(

Oh My! We moved away from Eureka awhile back, and I truly miss Rita's wonderful fare! Such delicious dinners! By all means, go to the Rita's on Wabash first, and don't let the tiny dining room send you running - it's crowded and friendly and the food is excellent, definitely a home cooked meal! Arrive earlier than the typical diner and you shouldn't have trouble getting a seat. Once you've tried the food, you'll be back again! When we drive south, I try to gauge our stop in Eureka at mealtime just so we can eat at Rita's.

It took a long time for us to find good Mexican food when we moved to the area. A great tip brought us to Rita's nearly 5 years ago, and there's still no other place to go for good food with real spice and real flavor. The staff is friendly, there's usually a table for the four of us. Warning: the Jr Ranchero burrito is huge! Everything's delicious.
