Restaurant, Fort Bragg

I do not know what was in mine and my boyfriend's clam chowder that night but he ended up throwing up the rest of the night and I got hives. Hives?? I don't have any allergies except to something in tanning lotions and I've eaten clam chowder dozens of times so this was just bizarre. I also felt awkward when we were there, we had to nearly whisper to each other unless you want everyone hearing your conversation and the servers stood and watched us eat the whole time, it made us feel pretty weird. We will not be returning to The Restaurant and I don't recommend getting the clam chowder if you do decide to eat there. Try the Cliff House, much tastier!
