Great wine country fare with the focus on fresh and local foods is offered at this restaurant which is a favorite of local winemakers and the menu offers something for everyone. Enjoy the great wine list and marvel at the pig collection. Reservations are recommended for dinner.
The service here was beyond bad. In over an hour the server did not refill my iced tea even once. The salad was killed with too much dressing and the lettuce showed obvious signs of being very old. They brought the bread after the meal was served and they give you warm water to drink with no ice. The restaurant is too small and so they rush you in and out and don't serve you well so that you will leave and they can get on to the next person. This was my third try and this place and it is always the same. I will not go again. With so many wonderful restaurants in Healdsburg, there is no need to have bad service and bad food.
Frank Perez at Kendall-Jackson recommended this restaurant to my friend and me and we were so grateful. The ambiance was warm and relaxing, our server was as friendly as she could be, and the food was tasty and well-presented. A dinner salad was included with our entrees and was delightfully filled with sliced almonds. The entree portions are generous, so arrive hungry. And try the lavender lemonade. Delicious!
