Great little place to eat. I had trouble deciding what to order becuase every thing on the menu looked so good. I Almost went with the Corned Beef Hash freshly made there, but for some reason went with the Huevos Rancheros: Wow that was excellent. My wife decided to order a Ruben; in which I ate half of as well and that was very good too. I am sure every thing on the menu is great and will be back for more. Oh yea, the wait staff was friendly an warm...

Disgusting food. You hardly get any food and the prices are completely inflated for what you get. I could scramble my own egg at home and save $$. The portions are SO SMALL and you pay way too much for your food. The service is slllllllllllllow! The atmosphere...well you can look past that. Old diner atmosphere. Don't waste your time driving out of your way to go to Elk for this place. It is NOT worth your time and gas!!

Absolutely delicious! I was so surprised that this little place could serve up such great food, and in such large portions! When I first looked at the prices I thought it was a bit much, but after seeing how much food came out, I could totally unnderstand! There was a bit of a wait, but seriously, what good food establishment doesn't have a wait? I would go again in a heartbeat!

Great place for breakfast, but from what I saw, probably a good place for dinner too. Full sized helpings of good fresh food, much of it local. Special care from the ingredients to the presentation, the help is warm and friendly. Can tell this is the place the local go. Great Blooy Mary's to boot. Highly recommend the corned beef hash for breakfast (unless the biscuits and gravy are on as a special)

Ill just say that for a food lover there isnt any better,i cant believe the flavor and freshness of the food,puts other cafes to shame,best food in California,i had a garlic spinach omlett and i tell you it was like heaven,i dont even know how they get their eggs so perfect,after breakfast i wanted lunch it was that good.
