Ordered Take Out...$59.00 worth of food. This was the worst experience I have encountered. Ordered Kung Pao Chicken without peanuts, chow mien with crispy noodles (crispy noodles add $2 more), Fried Prawns. When we got the chicken, peanuts all through the container, crispy noodles under the chow mien. My sister has serious food allergies to peanuts and gluten. These two items could have killed my sister. If you re going to advertise crispy noodles then you should also let the customer know that they are not packaged separate from the chow mien instead they are put underneath and will be soggy. The prawns...OMG you needed a magnifying glass to find the overcooked, hard prawn through all the batter they were fried in. This was not a pleasant experience... I did get my money back for all but three of the items ordered. When we went to call them to tell them of the problem with the food, the phone number in the phone book was no longer in service and the number on the receipt was for the credit card machine. Ended up driving all the way back to the restaurant. Very poor customer service...Never again will we deal with this establishment.
Bite for bite it was so great the food very fresh and tasty to. By far some of the best chinese food I had in a while. The server was happy and friendly.
It was a chilly day the wind was a blowing, so I order the sizzling rice soup. Let me say there was a least 10 different kinds of soup all sounded great. But this soup totaly hit the spot crispy rice, shrimp, veggies, and water chest nuts I loved it. Oh yeah and don't forget to order the pot stickers, not your usual. Theses are handmade stuffed with pork fresh ginger and veggies. Never have I had that good of pot stickers. Yum Yum can't wait to get back there.
So, a must try the menu is amazing soooo much to choose from, being a vegi person. I was very happy to see all the options. The waitress was soo sweet she also explain that the kitchen makes everything to order and we could get any dish vegi style. Soooooooo AWSOME.
WE LOVE IT.
Went to Lee's for a late lunch (nothing else was open) and had one of the worst restaurant experiences ever.
Seafood soup looked like a dirty liquid that you see spilled over the floor when they mop it. And we could smell chloride a mile away from the soup spoons. I am a patient man, so I ate all of it while my wife refused to take more than a spoon of that stuff.
My main dish (scallops) was a mere OK, while my wife's prawns in lobster sauce was something that deserves a chapter on its own. Those people have absolutely no idea what lobster sauce is! They put 6 (literally, 6!) dried up prawns on top of a gigantic pile of onions with some sticky saurce spilled over it. I'd take it in all-you-can-eat Asian Buffett for 5.95, but it was priced at a whopping 17.95! This is what you pay for a lunch size shrimp dish in a top of the line French restaurant. My mediocre scallop dish was priced at 16.95.
My daughter got her rice with what looked (and tasted) like 3 days old dried up veggies. At least rice was OK.
The only consolation was that the waitress was great. She was very pollite and even knocked $7 off the bill based on the fact that my wife couldn't eat much of anything.
Bottom line: run away from that place as fast and as far as you possibly can!
We ended up having bagels at the nearby coffeehouse to compensate for a disgusting lunch.
And all that was after we paid over $50 (minus $7 discount!)
Jeez, never again!
If you want to get flies in your food, then you can eat there. All they said in their response was, the door was open and he must of just flown in. Here I was eating Egg Foo Young and then to look down and see eyes staring back at you. I waited a month to go back to give them one more shot, same thing, in the egg foo young. Never ever again
The food is decent for Fort Bragg, but not the best, however, I support local businesses so I would go once in a while. I went this morning with my mom , she ordered the kung pao chicken (decent) and I ordered the curry chicken, (plate full of greasy onions with barely any chicken) I went to pay and the waitress gave us a bunch of ones, which was good because we were going to leave a tip, HOWEVER before we could do so, the waitress, which I believe is the owner's daughter, went off on us about why we never leave a tip loudly and for a few minutes, she clearly wanted to embarrass us. This was strange because I had not been in there for months, so I told her we must have us confused, but she kept ranting off rudely. I don't know why she was this desperate for a tip, our bill was only $13.
She was very unprofessional and I will never eat there again, I have told my friends not to support a business that treat their customers so unkindly. Go to Asian Buffet instead.
