Spirro Giros, Ukiah

It is true that the menu is limited, but the lamb gyros alone are reason enough to drop in. While the ambience leaves much to be desired, the man at the counter (perhaps Spirro himself?) was friendly and our order was out in no time. After the first bite you'll forget all about the cramped sitting area and dusty travel posters. The lamb was well seasoned and spit roasted, making my simple little sandwich beyond tasty. I'll certainly be back to sample other menu items.
