My fave fro-yo on Mendo Ave. Around since the early 1980's, this Mendocino Avenue soft-serve emporium is cute as a cupcake inside, with a resident plastic cow and more flavors than you can shake a spoon at. Purists laud the tart, yogurty quality of this local frozen treat purveyor. They also have ice cream and Hawaiian shave ice. Not to mention the nicest yogurt slingers in town (despite the fact that this old-school fro-yo spot is un-airconditioned.)
Yogurt Farms is wonderful! They serve 8 flavors of yogurt (including non-dairy and sugar free flavors), ice cream $1 per scoop, shakes, smoothies, and shaved ice. Not to mention they now serve Flying Goat espresso drinks! It is a family run business that is warm and friendly. They also recently remodeled. Its great!
Yogurt Farms is the best place to get frozen yogurt in Sonoma County--hands down! The flavors are devine, the prices are very reasonable (about $1.39 for 8oz, if I can remember correctly), and there are even fat free/sugar free/lactose free options. The service is good, as well.
I've frequented this spot for seven years...especially during summer time...and I will continue to go, even though I now live in San Francisco.
Forget the big chain stores...Go local and get great cold delights. Go Yogurt Farms!
