Funky Monkey, Santa Rosa

Guess what? This restaurant has the largest sports projection screen in Sonoma County. Correct me if I'm wrong. It's huge, like 20 feet wide. Saw the 49ers large as life, with a cold Great White brew in my hand. Oh yeah, the kids had fun too. Pizza is better than Mary's, IMO.

We've always enjoyed this place, but it's even better with the new management. The food's surprisingly good & reasonably-priced; there's a nice little play structure; the games are fun; & the prizes have gotten more appealing (plus there are more decent options in the 100-500 tickets range -- higher scores on games generate more tickets). Fun-ky Monkey also offers stuff to make the grown-ups happy .... including WiFi; beer; decent coffee; a layout with a fairly clear field of vision (for keeping track of the kids) & clean facilities (much more so than under the previous management). The folks who work there are really nice too.
