3rd Street Aleworks
Third Street Aleworks opened to the public on March 8th, 1996 when the combined efforts of Todd Hedrick, Chris Hagan and Jim Tasley made their dreams of opening a brewery a reality. Their goal was to offer exceptional beer and food in a fun, casual atmosphere that everyone could enjoy. Third Street Aleworks is committed to the mission of making great beer and great food and having a great time while doing it! Third Street Aleworks recognizes the importance of protecting our environment and using our resources intelligently. We are conscientious about minimizing our acoecarbon footprintac. From the spent grain that is reused by a local farmer, to our recyclable packaging, we strive to make our planet a better place.
Awful. Had a burger there last night and have had a stomach ache ever since. Beer isn't that good either. Haven't been there for years. Won't go back again. I wanted to complain directly to the restaurant but the website does not have an email address. So therefore I do it here.
This place really hit rock bottom two years ago, I don't know who that woman was who ran the restaurant but I am glad to see she is gone as the service has gone from non-existent to decent. The food was and still is good. I love the pulled pork and the BBQ oysters on Wednesdays is my favorite. Beer is good, better then it was 10 years ago but not as good as when Becky (?) was the brewmaster. Overall it is good place to go for a decent meal and drink
I lived in Santa Rosa in 1999 and 3rd Street was our favorite rest. It had great beer and wonderful garlic fries. We are going back to visit in June and I can't wait! I just hope they don't disappoint us.
We had been vacationing in the area, driving through the countryside, and when we returned to town, wanted to go to get a hamburger. Clerks at the hotel recommended the Aleworks. Food was very good, just what we were looking for! Best homemade rootbeer I ever tasted! Reminded me of those barrel candies from when I was a child.
When I first moved to the area in 2001, I could not get enough of Aleworks. Recently though, things have changed. It seems everytime I go, the menu has changed and the menu item I went there for is no longer available.
