The soup was canned Campbells Chicken noodle soup doctored up with some fresh chives; it was unmistakable, I know MSG when I taste it. The Bok Choy was old and had some brown bad spots on it, but the sauce was flavorful and strong and did a good job of hiding the old tired taste. I would not have served it at home but I was so hungry that I tried to eat around the bad parts. They did not have any gai long. The Beef with brocolli dish was actually quite nice, fresh and flavorful. The brocolli was crisp and the meat very tender. After the soup I could not tell if there was a lot of MSG or not in the rest of the meal but I suspect some was present. The bell pepper chicken was good, flavorful and tender. There are plenty of reasons to drive a few more miles down the road for a good Chinese dinner. I do not know that I would return but other diners seemed to be regulares. Maybe it was just a bad night.
