Recently went in for breakfast based on what I read on here and it was definitely a cozy little place. We had the chicken fried steak and yep, it's huge! It can easily feed 3 people. 2 of us in our party shared one and still took home leftovers! We will go back. I want to try some of their other breakfast items, especially the cinnamon roll.

Salida Kountry Kitchen - A great place to have breakfast and they serve one of the biggest Chicken Fried Steaks that I have ever seen. I recommend the cinnamon rolls too. They close at 2:00 pm so get there early. I really enjoy the atmosphere of this little neighborhood cafe. As country kitchens go, I give it a 5.

Great place to take the family.

We can take the kids and have a great breakfast or lunch any day of the week. The patrons are made welcome by the friendly staff every single time you enter the establishment. We really enjoy our experiences with these folks.
