Peppery Bar & Brill, Sonora

Actually the name is Peppery Gar and Brill.Great food if you like it a little hot. Very nice menu with lots of choices. The food and service is excellent. The food servers always remember your requests without writing anything down. Food is hot and served quickly depending on what you ordered.My only complaint is that it has a sports bar that can be quite noisey at times.

Good food, clean place, sweet and friendly staff, good prices & even a bar for the guys.

I am sorry the esteemed Mr. Greenjeans had such a negative experience since The Peppery has been a happy local haunt for over a decade. In all I would say I have eaten there over a couple of hundred times and I have never had a negative experience with the food. Yes, it is loud but I love the fact that the food and the service are always so pleasant. I highly recommend The Peppery to anyone. My favorite dish is always the seafood linguini!!!

We used to be frequent customers at The Peppery. Sadly we don't go there anymore. The last few times we have been there, the food was just not good.The salad was brown and soaked in dressing.(I think it was an attempt to cover up the lettuce)The french fries were soggy and had big chunks of salt stuck to them. The place is so dirty!! I don't think the ceiling fans or the vents have ever been cleaned. There are lots of other places to eat in the area that never get a chance because everyone thinks this place is so fab. Give some other places a try...you just might find a new favorite place. We did!

We stopped at the restaurant on the way to the Sierra Repertory Theatre to see a play. The food was superb: Bow-tie Pasta Primavera with asparagus, mushrooms, green and red peppers and slices of a polska kielbasa-type sausage, sauteed in chili oil & smothered in cheese which melted upon tossing. Service was excellent. We arrived at 12:00 noon, but we had excellent seating at a wonderful booth. It was somewhat noisy but I can hardly wait to go back again. I'd like to try everythhing on the menu.

I went here for lunch and was not impressed. The food was undercooked and the service was bad. I left and haven't been back. Probably a good place to go on weekends when it's loud and rowdy and you plan on tossing a few back. The food probably tastes better if you're drunk =p

The food is very good, and if you can stand the noise level in the dining room, it will be a great dining experience.

No Star. Bad food, bad service. Loud, uncomfortable dinning room. Got a terrible case of food poisoning there. Would not take my worst enemy there to dine.
