Pietros Pizza Fine Italian & American Food
Welcome to Pietro's of Lodi, a classic Italian restaurant that serves rich flavors and hearty portions at affordable prices. Since 1957 the proud family tradition for serving good food lives on with favorites like hand-tossed pizza, homemade ravioli, and authentic minestrone with homemade bread and broiled chicken with angel hair pasta. In addition, they offer delicious traditional dishes like eggplant lasagna, chicken florentine, and veal scaloppini. The menu is also complimented with Dover filet of sole, pancetta prawns and calamari steak. Their homemade desserts of cannoli, tiramisu and biscotti are made fresh daily. And the final family feel to the restaurant is their on-site herb and vegetable garden patio where one experiences the true fresh taste from the garden to the kitchen. It gives one the feel of a "meal with mama" on Sunday afternoon in Italy. Come enjoy the experience and meet the owners Jim and Annette Murdaca personally, as they meet and greet you at the door.
Eat where the locals eat that's my suggestion. Recommended to us while we were visiting Lodi. Order the 1/2 order entres. More than enough for the average person after the salad and delicious hot fresh baked bread. Moderately priced wine list with local wines. Friendly accomadating service. Make reservations. Wonderful ravioli, really good Veal Picatta .
Don't miss this place. Great value, moderately priced
I love love love Italian food and this place is WONDERFUL. I have eaten Italian food hundreds of times and this place rates on my top 5 list. We live an hour away and we dream of driving to Lodi to eat here. If we are driving through town or I have to work near Lodi I make sure to plan our trip with plenty of extra time to stop and eat here. The Lodi OZV Zin wine is also top notch.
I have to say we (my wife and I) have been here once. The food ok. and not great. That being said, I can live with the food becasue I am not spending 20 or 30 a plate. For the price and food we would go back again. The issue we found was the staff did play favorites. As stated it was our first time, and we received far different service that people that seemed to know the staff. That being said, we will not got back to a place to two classes service.
I was just at Pietro's and it seems like it just keeps getting better if thats posible. I love the food and the people that work their if you didn't like the food why didn't you say something they would have probably made you something else.
Possibly the worst restaurant that i have ever been in my life. Our waitress was rude, the clam chowder was disgusting and the raviolli was filled with a weird tasting ricotta cheese. The bread was cold and it smelled as soon as we walked in. I will never ever go back there and would rather have eaten italian food in the mall, it would have been better.
Whenever my husband and I have eaten at Pietro's the food had always been very good. In general the service we have been provided has been decent. I can't recall having to wait excessively long for anything, even on a busy night.
Pietro's is often not our first choice for Italian, primarily because we live closer to a competing Italian restaurant, so we often don't think of Pietro's first. I definitely recommend this restaurant.
