Took the Family to the new location @ the water front. The resturant looked great but the food was not all that. The rice was hard and the beans were from the can. We waited over 1 1/2 hr for our food. My daugter got her drink in a dirty glas. We told the waitress & it took her over 20 min. to bring her another drink. The restrooms were dirty & the carpet a mess . Will not be going back any time soon.
KILLER TORTILLAS WITH BUTTER! Have been coming to Nena's for over 2 years with a bunch of girls from work. The service is hit and miss at times. We usually go around 12 p.m. and call in our order so that it's ready by the time we arrive. Everything on the menu is completely delicious and the tortillas...OMG!
mm i used to go ther w/ my family wen i was lil every weekend for desayuno it's go0d 7 nean is very nice to0h she comes to every table to ask her coustomers how they like thier fo0d still i go i grew up in stockton go0d eats
I used to love Nena's and I used to agree they were the most authentic. However, I went two months ago and I noticed their enchiladas are not made the same way anymore. They seem to be reducing the quality and authenticity of their food. The enchiladas tasted horrible.
I do agree the hand made tortillas are the best though. Still a great place to eat but I don't think its the BEST anymore.
This is the best mexican place around. We drove more than an hour to eat here. The best is the handmade tortillas being made right in the middle of the restaurant. Friday nights they have live mariachi music.
